‘Works on Paper’ returns with a fantastic gallery exhibition opportunity, with further sponsored prizes.
Exhibit your work for two weeks in Primrose Hill this November at Regents Park Gallery.
‘Works on Paper’ can include pencil & graphite drawings, watercolour, gouache, pastels, oils, acrylics, etchings, or any other medium executed on paper.
Early bird entry:
- Enter now until September 22nd for the special discounted submission fee of £6.
- Submission fee after Early Bird period is £10.
Exhibition will be held at the end of November, with all details of selected artworks to be shared with our international collectors. -
Submissions close: October 27th

Any medium is accepted if the work is executed on paper (This does not include photography).
Entrance fee per work:
Early bird (until September 22nd): £6
From September 22nd: £10
(Entry fee is non-refundable).Up to 6 works may be submitted.
Works must be for sale and 40% commission is taken on sold works .
Maximum size of artwork eligible: 70 x 70 cm.
Artists must be aged at least 18 years.
Open internationally.
The exhibition at Regents Park Gallery will be open to the public from the end of November for 2 weeks (dates TBC).
Works selected for the exhibition cannot be removed before the end of the exhibition.
Hampstead Art Society may reproduce any exhibited works, for the purposes of marketing, promotion, including the exhibition catalogue and subsequent publications.
The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence can be entered into. Artists should be aware that all works are judged on an equal basis.
Hampstead Art Society reserves the right to disqualify any piece of work if the artist has not adhered to the rules, even if the work has been selected for exhibition.
If the frame detracts, or adds significantly greater dimensions to the artwork (than the dimensions stated on application), Hampstead Art Society reserves the right to remove artwork from the exhibition, even if it has been selected.
Please note that judging is completed digitally. It is therefore important that the photograph uploaded by the artist is of a high quality.
Delivery / Shipping
For works arriving by post, courier:Works should be shipped at least 2 weeks before the opening to avoid any delays.

Deliveries by post will be accepted in suitable packaging.
All artists must arrange and pay for delivery of their work.
If works are being shipped by courier, artists must take full responsibility for all costs, including any import customs charges and duties. When sending works from abroad the artist should not tick the box advising the courier company to bill the recipient.
It is the artist’s responsibility to arrange and pay for collection of their works at the end of the exhibition, timing to be agreed with Hampstead Art Society in advance. Hampstead Art Society can pack any unsold works after the show and send via post if requested. It is artists responsibility to cover postage fees.
Works will need to be collected before December 15th 2025
Note that for works being collected by a courier the artist must provide 48 hours advanced notification to ensure work is prepared for collection.

Joshua Press
Joshua is a London based artist currently represented by Galerie Gregoire Mercier in Paris.
A vital member of Hampstead Art Society as returning judge, he is also founder of the North London Group where he leads a number of workshops, as well as hosting talks with various artists. -
Alex Cohen
Alex Cohen is an oil painter living in Newtown, Pennsylvania.
Alex is co-director at Kings Oaks, which presents exhibitions, workshops and performances in an 1839 stone barn in Newtown, with theatre artist Clara Weishahn. -
Stacy Caldwell
Stacy’s work demonstrates her deep connection to the rivers, hills and ambient light of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where she lives.
Working predominately with charcoal on moleskin or gouache, her observational work conjures the essence of place to wonderful effect.
